UniMDF hydro air is made of pine wood, which is responsible for its typical light, stable wood colour. During the manufacturing process, the wood fibres are mixed with special glue and subsequently compressed under high pressure and at a high temperature to produce a homogeneous MDF board. Doing so prevents uniMDF hydro air from swelling as quickly as regular MDF after contact with water, which makes this board better suited for wet areas. uniMDF hydro air is made of wood from sustainably managed forests of non-controversial origin.

Very pleased with it, it is very well made and assembled quickly and accurately. The extra details supplied like the wood that slots in to keep the lid open is excellent.
I must say, fantastic service from start to finish. The two work benches I ordered were so easy to put together. However be warned, these are very good quality, therefore the wood used is of good quality, when fully assembled the benches are heavy, which is what you'd expect from quality timber, so build in the are you want them to go, unless you have someone that can help you move them. Would definitely recommend, and will purchase other items in the future. Cheers Rich
