The project called for the manufacturing and installation of four distinct mobile shelters:

• An Open Shelter: One 12x12 open-front field shelter for easy access.

• A Multi-Purpose Stable: One large 12x18 stable shelter featuring an integrated tack room and front gutters.

• Standard Stables: Two 12x12 stable shelters, both equipped with front gutters.

Our technical team quickly processed the bespoke order to ensure the manufacturing timeline aligned with the client's pressing deadline.

2. Design & Fabrication: Built for the Scottish Weather

Mobile field shelters must be engineered to withstand rigorous outdoor elements while providing a safe, comfortable environment for livestock.

• Knock-Down Kits: To facilitate transportation to the Scottish site, all four shelters were manufactured in our Wisbech workshop as knock-down kits.

• Integrated Drainage: To handle heavy rainfall, the stable units were specifically designed and fitted with front guttering systems.

• Sustainable Packaging: In line with our commitment to minimizing environmental impact, the shelter components were prepared for transit using very limited packaging.

3. Logistics & On-Site Assembly: Overcoming Material Delays

Delivering a large-scale project across the country requires precision logistics. However, even the most meticulous planning can encounter unforeseen hurdles.

During the manufacturing phase, we experienced an unexpected delay with a crucial wood delivery to our workshop. Our customer service team immediately contacted the client to transparently communicate the delay and proactively reschedule the delivery and assembly dates to the 31st of March and the 1st of April.

Because the client had ordered the white-glove assembly service, our dedicated fitting crew traveled to the field in Bo'ness. Despite the initial material delays, the team worked efficiently to unload the massive structural components and fully construct all four mobile shelters directly on the field, resulting in a highly functional and robust equestrian setup.
