Only logs that have less than 20% moisture content can be certified 'Ready to Burn'. 

ALL logs we sell are guaranteed to have below 20%, in fact, most of the firewood on our website is nearer 10% :

-  They are much better for the environment. Wet logs smoke and release unwanted and harmful particles when you burn them

-  They are much more efficient - you get much more heat per log when they're dry

-  They are much better for your stove and chimney - no nasty, damaging build-up from smoke

Ready to Burn certification is part of the UK's commitment to the Clean Air Strategy to reduce emissions of damaging air pollutants.

This is why it's so important that all logs and firewood we sell have this certification.
