Only logs that have less than 20% moisture content can be certified 'Ready to Burn'.
ALL logs we sell are guaranteed to have below 20%, in fact, most of the firewood on our website is nearer 10% :
- They are much better for the environment. Wet logs smoke and release unwanted and harmful particles when you burn them
- They are much more efficient - you get much more heat per log when they're dry
- They are much better for your stove and chimney - no nasty, damaging build-up from smoke
