The wooden Close Board fencing panels are fence panels formed from vertical feather edge boards (125 x ex22mm boards), each partially overlapped and fixed to several rear horizontal supporting wooden rails (38mm x 50mm). Close Board panels are traditionally used for boundary screening and are more robust than the common waney panels. The flexible design enables use with concrete posts or timber posts. Providing excellent privacy, and enhancing the look of your garden. Our panels benefit from stainless steel fixings, providing a bright aesthetic appearance.

All the wooden Close Board Fencing Panels are 6 ft (1828mm) width and have different heights: 600 mm (2 ft), 900 mm (3 ft), 1200 mm (4 ft), 1500 mm (5 ft), 1800 mm (6 ft), if you will choose the option with capping it, will add another 15mm to the height. Fence panels are constructed using 18 in wide feathered edge boards running vertically down. They have rails 38 mm x 50 mm running across the back horizontally. The fence panel can be finished with a capping on top as an option. All of the wooden Close Board Fencing Panels are treated with a Tanalith-E type preservative and are golden brown in colour or natural light-green colour. Assembly:
The item will be delivered a flat pack. Easy assemble and only requires a screwdriver (preferably battery operated) to finish, picnic sets will require a socket m8 to finish.
Assembly instructions will be included with the 24-hour notification email.
A current delivery lead time is between 1 - 3 weeks. Standard delivery is to mainland England and *Wales (please check important information for more details) only.

Please note - we are committed to minimise our environmental impact across our operations and use very limited or no packaging when delivering our goods.
All our products are made from wood which is a raw material, therefore, there may be some splits and cracks that can appear in the wood from time to time which may come and go with changes in the weather. There is no need for any further treatment as the pressure treatment process can protect against rot for up to 15 years, however, like all wood, it will weather and season naturally over time. The products will turn an attractive silvery grey over the years. We would advise adding a furniture oil or linseed oil based product once a year just to replenish and moisturise the wood, which will also delay the weathering process.
